Regulation on Harmonization of the Customs Tariff Nomenclature for the year of 2016


The Regulation on Harmonization of the Customs Tariff Nomenclature for 2016 (hereinafter: CT2016) is published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 098 of 01/12/2015. - HERE

 

The legal basis for the adoption of CT2016 is Article 3, Paragraph 8 of the Customs Tariff Law, according to which the Government by the Regulation, no later than November of the current year, for the following year harmonizes the customs tariff nomenclature with the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union, which will apply to the classification of goods in the Customs Tariff.

 

Beside regular annual harmonization of the national nomenclature with the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union for 2016, CT2016 includes also the rates of customs duties for the year of  2016 determined by the signed Free Trade Agreements (SAA, CEFTA, EFTA, Turkey, the Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazakhstan).

 

CT2016 shall enter into force on the eighth day following that of its publication in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, and shall be applicable at the date of 1. January 2015.
